Ease Neck Pain at Home
Years of hard work, prolonged sitting and bad posture put damaging tension on the cervical spine... This causes the cervical discs to squeeze out of place and put pressure on the nearby nerves, leading to that grinding pain...
Laying down on the Mendable Cradle for just 15 minutes a day progressively improves blood circulation, relaxes tight muscles...
Restore Your Neck's Natural Curve to Ease Neck Pain
Modern activities push the head further forward than what's normal. This causes the muscles to tighten and compensate, leaving the neck stuck in this position all the time.
What makes things worse is that when muscles are stressed and contracted, they choke off their own blood supply. So even though your body is desperately trying to pump more blood into the neck area to strengthen the muscles, it simply can't.
To help restore the neck's natural curve, we equipped the Mendable Cradle with electrical muscle stimulation, or EMS. This technology contracts the muscles through gentle electrical currents — basically mimicking exercise.
When you lay down on it, the Cradle holds your neck at the 26° angle, which is the position designed to support decompression of the cervical spine. At the same time, the small electrical impulses encourage your muscles to contract and act like pumps, naturally pushing blood through the neck and improving circulation.
This helps muscles relax and return to their natural position, easing pressure on the cervical spine, and addressing the source of the neck pain.
Other Clinically Proven Benefits of EMS
EMS provides pain relief by stimulating the release of endorphins — your body's natural pain killers.
It's also proven to strengthen muscles by contracting them — which makes them stronger, making it easier to start moving around again, and improving neck mobility.
EMS also stimulates the nerves through gentle currents, helping them regenerate and repair to combat neck and shoulder pain.
Speed Up Healing With Heat Therapy
Using adjustable, soothing warmth, the Mendable Cradle naturally increases blood circulation by dilating and widening the blood vessels in the neck area, allowing more room for fluid to pass through.
Enhanced blood flow helps deliver more oxygen and healthy nutrients to your neck muscles and head, which supports the body's healing abilities and helps reduce inflammation.
Reduce Inflammation With Massage Therapy
As a reaction to excessive tension in the neck, the immune system can over-produce inflammatory substances.
The Mendable Cradle uses massage pads, which have been shown in studies to reduce the release of pro-inflammatory substances and promote anti-inflammatory cytokines, creating an environment that is more conducive to nerve and tissue recovery.
Beneficial Against Multiple Health Issues
With input from Australian remedial massage therapists, osteopaths and movement therapists, the Mendable Cradle is designed to support multiple common neck and posture issues:
The Mendable Cradle uses a unique combination of technologies to gently stretch and decompress the cervical spine, releasing painful, trapped nerves and almost instantly alleviating the pain.
Using EMS and heating therapy, Hugterra naturally improves blood circulation and relaxes tight muscles. This relieves discomfort and the nagging feeling of tension in the neck.
Mendable Cradle stretches the neck at the optimal 26-degree angle, which has been proven to be the most effective for lengthening the tight muscles that pull the neck forward. This restores the natural curvature of the neck in as little as 14 days, removing that unsightly neck hump and reversing forward head posture.
Using EMS, heating, stretching and massage, Hugterra dilates the blood vessels, improving blood flow to the neck and head, thereby easing tension headaches.
When the nerves in your neck get pinched, the pain starts radiating through your upper back, shoulder, and even arm. Mendable Cradle releases these trapped nerves using stretching and EMS, allowing them to breathe and repair. This almost instantly relieves the pain in those areas.
Stretching with the Mendable Cradle has been proven to increase serotonin levels—the hormone that helps stabilize mood, reduce stress, and generally make us feel good, this helps when going through stressful situations, or unwinding after a long day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most users do find lasting relief when they use the Mendable Cradle as a daily routine. Painkillers and standard massages tend to mask symptoms for a few hours. The Mendable Cradle is designed to address the underlying tension and posture pattern by combining 26° decompression, EMS, heat and massage in a single 15-minute routine.
The Mendable Cradle is designed to support people experiencing:
- Chronic neck stiffness, upper back tension and shoulder tightness
- Posture-related complaints — "tech neck", forward head posture, neck hump
- Tension headaches and TMJ discomfort
It's a wellness/comfort device, not a medical device. For any serious or persistent pain, please consult your GP or qualified healthcare practitioner.
Then you don't pay a cent. We offer a 60-day money-back promise. Use it for the full 60 days. If you don't experience real relief, email contact@mendable.au for a full refund. You don't need to return the device. This is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Yes, for the heat and massage functions. You can absolutely use the Cradle in bed to enjoy the soothing heat, massage and EMS before sleep. However, for the spinal decompression to work effectively, gravity needs a firm surface to pull against. For that, we recommend using the device on the floor (with a yoga mat or blanket for comfort) for about 10 minutes a day.
Please consult your healthcare practitioner first. If you've had recent neck surgery, trauma, or have a serious cervical condition, the Mendable Cradle is not designed for use during recovery. Always speak to your GP or surgeon before introducing any new device to your routine.
Most users notice something after the first session — a release of tension, an easing of stiffness. Lasting improvement takes consistent daily use over a few weeks.
- Day 1: Immediate release of muscle tension, better blood flow.
- Day 7: Better mobility, less morning stiffness.
- Day 14+: Sustained reduction in chronic tension and visible posture improvement.
Think of it as physiotherapy you do at home — consistency is what makes the difference.
1. Press the on/off button to start the device.
2. Lay down on the Cradle, adjust the temperature, massage and EMS level to one that feels comfortable.
3. Relax for 15–20 minutes.
4. Use daily for 7–14 days, then as needed when you feel tension building.
A printed user manual is included with every Mendable Cradle.
The Mendable Cradle has a built-in rechargeable battery. A full charge lasts roughly 10–15 sessions and takes 3–5 hours to recharge fully. The charging cable is included.

Read the instructions first!! (But yes, it works wonders)
I've had a developing neck hump for years from being at the computer. My remedial massage therapist is great but expensive, so I bought this for the in-between weeks.
First, a warning: the first time I used it, I felt a sharp prickling sensation and thought it was shocking me. READ THE MANUAL. You have to wipe your neck with a damp cloth or apply a little moisturiser before using the EMS function. Once I did that — oh my goodness. The prickling turned into a deep, rhythmic massage that felt like real fingers working out the knots.
I've been using it for 14 days. The crunchy sound I usually hear turning my head is gone. I can actually check the blind spot reversing the car without turning my whole torso. The hump hasn't disappeared yet, but it definitely feels less swollen and tender. Genuinely impressed.
One improvement needed: the remote is small and easy to lose in the bedsheets. Maybe add a magnet next version.
Bottom line: Don't let the zaps scare you. Wet your neck, start on Level 1, stick with it. Has given me more relief than anything I've bought from Chemist Warehouse.
Good so far
There's mine. Used it twice across two nights. Read the manual first. Used it once facing one way for 15 minutes, then again facing the other way the next night. Wow, I can really tell the difference. Good so far — happy with the build.
Legit relief for "coding neck", but the battery has limits.
I sit at a dual-monitor setup 10–12 hours a day and my neck is usually cooked by 3pm. I've tried inflatable collars (useless) and a massage gun (too aggressive for the neck). I was sceptical about this 4-in-1 claim, but the physics actually make sense.
The Good:
— The Curve: The 26° arch is firm but necessary. It forces your neck back into the correct C-shape. The first 2 minutes are uncomfortable, then your muscles surrender and it feels amazing.
— The Heat: Actually gets hot. Not just warm. Therapeutic warmth that preps the muscles before the EMS kicks in.
— EMS: I keep it on Level 3 or 4. Feels like deep tissue tapping.
The Meh:
— Battery life: If you run Heat + EMS on high (which I do), don't expect a week between charges. I get about 4 sessions before needing a top-up. USB-C charging is nice though.
— Beep: Every mode change beeps. A bit loud if your partner's sleeping next to you.
Verdict: If you've got tech neck, worth it. Keep the cable at your desk.
Game changer
This is a game changer for me. I've had ongoing cervical issues for years — multiple injections, the lot. Been using this twice per day for three weeks now and my pain level has dropped dramatically. I was 5–6 daily, now 2–3. Genuinely recommend it.
Works, but be realistic with expectations
Writing this after using for about 10 weeks so hopefully it helps someone decide. I'm a 42-year-old software engineer so yeah — desk job equals terrible posture. My neck hump wasn't as bad as some of the before pics I've seen but it was definitely noticeable and getting worse.
The wife kept nagging me about my posture (she means well) and I finally decided to do something when my 8-year-old asked why I always look at the ground when we walk together. That hit hard.
Pros:
— Quality feels legit, not cheap Amazon-knockoff.
— Actually works if you stick with it.
— Easy to use while watching telly.
— Customer service replied quickly when I had questions.
— Heat and massage feels great, almost addictive.
— Neck pain is basically gone now.
— Posture has improved — coworkers have commented.
Cons:
— Expensive (though less than physio would cost over time).
— Takes longer than the marketing suggests. They say 2 weeks, took me about 3 to see real changes.
— First week was uncomfortable — felt like my neck muscles were sore.
— Have to clean it regularly or it gets gross.
— Wish straps were longer for bigger guys.
Realistic results: My hump isn't completely gone but it's about 70% better. I look more normal in photos and the wife says I carry myself differently. The neck pain that was getting me — totally gone. That's the biggest win.
Sleeping like a baby again
Twenty years of waking up with a stiff neck and now I genuinely don't think about it most mornings. I sit with the Cradle for about ten minutes after dinner while watching the news, and the change in three weeks has been remarkable. My husband says I stopped doing that grimace I used to do when I turned my head. Best $139 I've ever spent.
Finally something that lasted
Three years of fortnightly physio appointments, six rounds of cortisone, and a chiropractor on speed dial. This little thing has done more in a month than all of that combined and I'm not exaggerating. The pain that used to wake me up at 3am has just stopped coming. I don't know exactly how it works but I don't care.
Tension headaches gone
I work at a screen ten hours a day and the tension headaches that came with it had become a daily thing. After about two weeks of using the Cradle each evening, they just disappeared. I went a fortnight without taking a single Panadol before I realised what had changed. Bought one for my husband and one for my sister.
Old league injury sorted
Cervical disc damage from years of rugby in my twenties. Used to get a horrible cracking sensation when I turned my head and couldn't check blind spots when driving without pulling my whole body around. Used the Cradle every night for six weeks and I can turn my head like a normal person again. Real game changer at 58.
Surgeon was wrong
Specialist told me cervical fusion was the only option and quoted me a six month recovery. I decided to give this a fair go first since the guarantee covered it. Six months in I'm back at yoga twice a week and the pain is at most a 2 out of 10. Save your money on the specialist consultation fee and try this first — I wish I had.
Solid bit of gear
Feels well built, weight is right, no rattles or cheap plastic. Took me about four days to figure out the right angle for my neck but once I had it sorted the relief is real. Wife thinks it looks weird sitting on the lounge but she's also stopped hearing me complain about my neck every night. Win for me.
Worth every cent
My remedial massage costs $110 a session and the relief lasts about three days. I was going every fortnight for years. This little device has effectively replaced about $400 a month in appointments and the relief is steady rather than spiky. I still go for the social side of it but only once a month now.
Goodbye desk neck
Architect, 30 years hunched over drafting boards and now over a CAD station. My posture had become a permanent slump and my neck a permanent ache. Two months of using the Cradle for ten minutes a night and my partner says I'm standing taller and looking less hunched. I can feel it too — looser shoulders, no morning stiffness.
Mum loves it too
Bought it for myself first and after about six weeks I noticed how much easier daily life had become. So I bought a second one for my mum who's 78 and has had a stiff neck since I was a kid. She uses it every afternoon during her cup of tea and has more mobility now than I've seen in years. Tell your parents about this.
Real, lasting relief
Honestly I was sceptical about another miracle device. Bought it because of the 90-day guarantee, used it daily for three weeks before I'd admit it was actually working. The neck spasms I used to get every couple of weeks just stopped. Six months on and I haven't had one. It's now part of my evening routine like brushing my teeth.
After whiplash recovery
Rear-ended at the lights eight months ago and the whiplash never fully went away. Physio got me 80% of the way back but I plateaued and the last 20% felt stuck. The Cradle finished the job. About four weeks of nightly sessions and the neck started feeling normal again. Wish my physio had recommended it earlier.
Tradies with sore necks listen up
Carpenter for 35 years and my neck and shoulders had become permanently knotted. I'd given up trying to fix it and just lived on Voltaren. Started using the Cradle a couple of months ago and the change is real. Mate at work asked me what I'd been doing differently because I looked less tense. He's ordered one too now.
Better than expected
Three weeks in and my partner asked what had changed because I looked different. Looser shoulders, less hunching, sleeping deeper, no morning grumbling about a stiff neck. I didn't realise how much my neck had been quietly affecting my mood until it stopped hurting. Highly recommend giving it the full 90 days.
Travel friendly
I travel for work and hotel pillows wreck my neck within a night or two. I throw the Cradle in my suitcase and use it on the bed before sleeping. The difference between trips with it and trips without it is dramatic — I land back home actually rested rather than needing three days to recover. Worth every cent for FIFO workers.
Physio actually recommended it
My physio said to try this before our next round of dry needling because his other clients had reported good results. I was a bit insulted he was sending me away with a $139 gadget but I figured I'd try. Four weeks later I cancelled the next three appointments. He's now bought one for his clinic.
Two months, no flare ups
I used to get a horrible neck spasm at least once a month that would put me out of action for two or three days. Started using the Cradle daily and it's been two months without a single flare-up. The chronic background ache has also softened to something I barely notice now. Touch wood it stays this way.
Painkiller free now
I was on Endone and amitriptyline daily for two years for chronic neck pain after a fall. The side effects were starting to worry me. Off both medications since about week six of using the Cradle and the pain is genuinely lower than it was on the meds. My doctor was sceptical at first but couldn't argue with the results.
Easy to use
Was worried it would be complicated or that I'd need to watch a YouTube tutorial. It's literally lie back and breathe for ten minutes. My 80-year-old mother uses it without help and gets the same benefit. The simplicity is part of what makes it stick — there's no excuse to skip a day.
Old chiro patient
Spent close to $4,000 at the chiropractor last year on twice-weekly adjustments that worked for about three days each. Spent $139 on this and the relief has been consistent for months. I'm not anti-chiro but the maths just doesn't add up anymore. Should've found this five years ago and saved myself a small fortune.
First good sleep in a decade
Diagnosed with a disc bulge at C5/C6 about ten years ago and I haven't slept through the night properly since. The pain would wake me up around 4am and I'd have to get up and stretch. Eight weeks of nightly Cradle sessions and I now sleep through till 6am most nights. I had genuinely forgotten what that felt like.
Massive improvement
Range of motion in my neck came back over the course of two months. Posture has improved noticeably. Even my mood — turns out chronic low-level pain was making me grumpier than I realised. All from a ten minute routine before bed. The wife is happier too which is the real win for me.
Surprised it worked so well
I'm a sceptic by nature and assumed this would be another expensive gadget gathering dust in the cupboard. Wife made me try it for a month before returning it. Well, she was right and I was wrong. By week three I was looking forward to using it. Four months on it's still working and I'm still using it.
Worth twice the price
Honestly priced too low for what it does. I would have happily paid $300 if I'd known what I was getting. The build quality is good, the relief is real, and it's saved me hundreds in physio I would have had to keep doing. Tell your friends before they spend their money elsewhere.
Glad I gave it a fair go
First week I didn't really feel much and I was already drafting the return email. By week three the headaches I'd been getting for years stopped. By week six the morning stiffness was gone. Lesson learned — stick with it for the full 90 days before judging anything. Worth it.
My partner finally believes me
Spent years telling my wife my neck was actually killing me and she'd say I was exaggerating. Now she sees me actually using something every night and she sees me complaining less and looking less stressed. We're both happier — she's stopped rolling her eyes when I mention my neck, and I've stopped having to defend myself.
Recommend to everyone
I told my whole walking group about it after my neck pain visibly improved within a month. Three of them have bought one since and all three have reported back with similar results. I'm not on commission, this thing just genuinely works. Best word-of-mouth recommendation I've made in years.
Better than the massage chair
We spent $2,500 on one of those big massage chairs three years ago and it sat in the corner gathering dust after the novelty wore off. Sold it last month. Kept the Cradle. I use it every single day. Tells you everything you need to know about which one of them actually delivers results.
Game changer for nurses
20 years as an ICU nurse, lifting and turning patients daily. My neck and shoulders had become permanently like concrete. This thing actually breaks the tension up — I can feel it loosening while I use it. My colleagues at work are asking what I'm doing differently because I look less knackered. Recommend to anyone in healthcare.
Takes some getting used to
First few sessions felt strange and I wasn't sure I was using it right. Once I figured out the right angle and pressure for my particular neck it's been excellent. Knocking off a star purely for the learning curve — clearer instructions for first-timers would help a lot. The device itself is great.
Works but not magic
Definitely helps with my neck soreness, especially after long drives or when I've been on the computer too long. Not a complete cure but the best thing I've tried by a long way. I've kept it as part of my routine and would buy again. Maybe my expectations were too high after reading some of the testimonials.
Solid
Does what it says on the box. Took maybe three weeks to start noticing real change which I think is reasonable for something working on long-term tension. Improvement has been steady from there with no setbacks. Happy with my purchase, would recommend to anyone with chronic neck stiffness.
Pretty good
I'd give five stars but the included strap felt a bit cheap to me — the buckle in particular looks like it might break with heavy use. The actual device is great quality though and it does what it's supposed to do. My neck has improved noticeably over the past six weeks. Maybe upgrade the strap on the next version.
Improvement, slow
Not as fast a result as I was expecting based on the testimonials but I'm definitely better than I was three months ago. Stiffness in the mornings is gone, range of motion has improved, and the headaches have eased. Slow and steady but real progress. Worth the patience.
Helpful tool
Useful addition to my routine. Wouldn't say it's a miracle device but my neck is measurably better than before I started using it. Maybe a 4 out of 10 pain dropped to a 1 out of 10. That's a meaningful change for me even if it's not the dramatic transformation some reviewers describe. Solid four stars.
Good for tech neck
Office worker, eight hours a day at the screen. The Cradle helps with the tension that builds up across my shoulders and into my neck by the end of the work week. Could be a bit more comfortable to use for longer sessions but ten minutes is fine and the benefit is clear. Would recommend for desk workers.
Recommend with caveat
Great for my chronic stiffness which I've had for years from old motorbike injuries. My only criticism is the instructions could be clearer for someone using one of these for the first time — I spent the first week probably not using it optimally. Once I had it sorted the results have been good. Just give it time.
Working slowly
Steady improvement over the past two months of nightly use. Nothing dramatic, just gradual easing of the stiffness and a better night's sleep most evenings. Happy I bought it and happy I gave it the time to work. Patience is the key here — don't judge it after the first week.
Works for stiffness, not sciatica
Helped my neck stiffness a fair bit and I'd recommend it for that. My sciatic pain that radiates from my neck down my left arm didn't really improve like I'd hoped though. So mixed results for me — depends what you're using it for. The neck side of things is genuinely better.
Decent but not life changing
Some relief, especially in the mornings when my neck used to feel locked up. Not as transformative as a lot of the testimonials suggest but probably worth the cost for the modest improvement. I'd buy it again for the price but I'm not going to be telling everyone they need one.
OK for the price
Modest improvement after a month of nightly use. Wouldn't say it changed my life or anything but I'd rather have it than not. The build quality is good and the guarantee gave me confidence to give it a proper try. Three stars feels fair — neither great nor disappointing.

I’ve had mine a couple weeks and wanted to wait to do a review.. I get injections in my neck every 3 months for bulging disc, Degenerative Disc disease, bone spurs, and arthritis.. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 20 years. I use this every night and it actually makes it easier to sleep after using it bc my neck feels better and doesn’t hurt as much.
I had a kink in my neck for over a year. I purchased that Hugterra and man, did it clear up within 2-3 applications!! Nothing else was working, not drugs, not chiropractic, but this works!
I love mine, clears pain up for a day or so, unfortunately it will not fix me. I have discovered that I have severe whiplash from an accident a few yrs ago BUT, IT helps with the neck pain, does only a little for the dizziness. I will continue to use it for pain relief.. Very pleased.
